The aim of the programme is to enable providers to explore the opportunity of micro-enterprise within their organisation.
Training will be based on the Micro-Enterprise Pilot Framework that The Akina Foundation and Inclusive NZ developed late last year, and participants can expect to engage in:
Learning though doing – You will take your organisation and your potential entrepreneurs through a process of learning through doing alongside another 2-5 organisations.
Learning at two levels – You will take the perspective of both how to design a micro-enterprise programme in your organisation and how to start and support a live micro-enterprise.
Group learning and individual coaching – You will attend three one-day workshops in Wellington and receive mentoring and support in-between.
Programme cost: $2,350+ GST per person. (Staff from MSD contracted Employment, Participation and Inclusion services may be eligible to have the fee covered by the Training and Workforce Development Fund.)
Programme duration: The programme will commence in late April and conclude in June. It will include three one-day workshops held in Wellington
