NCUWC Releases
14-15 Annual Report

In the seventh year as a watershed council, the North Clackamas Watersheds Council has found its stride. With many successful restoration projects, many collaborations and a new strategic plan, NCUWC is set to excel in 2016. Read the report here, or email the Council Coordinator at coordinator@ncuwc.org to receive a printed copy.

Streamside Stewards Update

With the late winter and early spring planting season nearly over, NCUWC and our contractor, Mosaic Ecology LLC, have worked with 28 landowners and homeowner associations to plant over 8,400 plants in the Kellogg, Mt. Scott, River Forest and Boardman watersheds in 2016.  Look for our crew in the summer as we maintain these plantings and work to continue invasive species removal to improve the health of these watersheds.

In December of 2015, NCUWC hired a new Council Coordinator. Andrew Collins-Anderson comes to NCUWC with a background in community organizing and river conservation. He is looking forward to meeting the many dedicated community members in the area and working towards the continued restoration of these critical creeks.
