Welcome DPT Class of 2020

White Coat Ceremony

DPT Class of 2020 has a national and international appeal. Thirty-five new doctoral students have arrived from 9 different states (AZ, CO, IA, IN, MI, OH, PA, TN, UT) and for the first time, internationally from Sri Lanka. On September 1, we ceremonially welcomed them into the profession during our White Coat Ceremony.

Spotlight on DPT Faculty

Associate Professor, Dr. Jenna Encheff, PT, PhD, CMPT

Dr. Encheff taught for 11 years at The University of Findlay’s DPT program before joining Trine University two years ago. She keeps her PT skills current by practicing one day a week in her brother’s clinic. She is currently pursuing certification in equine rehabilitation, and enjoys her side job hoof trimming. In her spare time, Dr. E enjoys working with her two off-track Thoroughbreds, loving on her dog and cats, reading, gardening, and road tripping to wineries.

Class of 2018 Update

Hiking in Alaska

The Class of 2018 started their second full-time clinical affiliations! While 21 students have chosen to remain in Indiana, two have ventured to Kentucky, two to Michigan, one to Ohio, one to Colorado, one to California, and one to Alaska! (Photo: Angela Kesler, DPT student) We wish our students well as they deepen their understanding of Physical Therapy. We also appreciate the support of our clinical partners. Thank you!
