Mulled Cider anyone?

1 litre cider
Mug of Suffolk apple juice
200ml sloe gin or sloe vodka
Half a dozen cloves
Four cinnamon sticks
One Star Anise (optional)
Dollop of honey to taste
A sliced orange or two

Put the cider and apple juice into a saucepan with the spices and bring slowly to the boil with the lid on. As soon as it starts to come to a gentle simmer, turn off the heat and add the sloe gin and the oranges. Taste and add the honey to suit. Serve straight away by a log fire preferably with friends and family!

With a small team of skilled craftsmen, Church and Gooderham love what they do. They are now taking orders for 2013 so please contact them.

With ice skating, Santa's Grotto, festive food and fabulous shopping the Christmas Fair on Friday 30th November, up at the Castle Inn looks set to get everyone in the mood.
Wander round town for a spot of late night shopping then head to the Castle Fair where Carol singers and local band the Broadside Boys are playing
The Fair is open from 12.00 noon to 10.00pm

We now have the chance to produce our own Neighbourhood Plan that will shape the future of our town for the next 15 years.
This is not a Town Council plan, it is a commuinity plan and we need you to get involved.
