Open Your Heart to a Hurting World
March 24, 2020
Dear Partners in the Gospel of Christ,
The world is changing.  God never changes.  He is our rock, our shield, our fortress, and our deliverer.
How are you doing?  Now is a time to trust our sovereign Lord.  It is a time to draw close to Him and find comfort, guidance, and joy in His Word and in worship and in prayer.
In the midst of this great crisis, we have the opportunity to show the love of Christ to many people---- all around us, people are filled with fear, despair, sorrow, and disappointment.   Even now, reach out to someone who is lonely or hurting.  Let your light shine brightly!
Each day I hear from Africa.  Many are very vulnerable and overcome with fear.  Some of our students have just gone through a time when the locusts ate most of their crops.  Now the COVID-19 virus is headed their way and most have no defense.

How can you help?
  1. Our clinic in Africa, which serves thousands of people each year, needs funds for medicine; and the staff needs protective clothing, masks, goggles, hand sanitizer, gloves, and non-contact digital thermometers.  These items are available in Uganda, and your gift at this time would make a big difference. In addition, we are in the middle of constructing staff housing, so that our workers will have a place to rest, separate from the patients. The remaining cost of this building is $2800.
  2. Some of our friends lost almost everything when the locusts came, and now a famine is predicted.  Funds are needed to replant their crops and for food in the elementary schools we support.
  3. Due to the fear of COVID-19, our seminary program has been closed by the governments of Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya. The day will come when our schools are again open and the countries where we serve will again welcome us.  We are now accredited in Uganda and we look forward to returning.  We would like to begin with 100 students in our new accredited program.  Below is an opportunity for you or your church to adopt a student preparing to be a pastor, missionary or teacher.
We face a global problem, and we ask for your prayers.  If you can help financially with these needs, tax-deductible gifts can be directed to: Trinity Center for World Mission, P.O. Box 580, Dahlonega, GA 30533. ONLINE: Go to  and click on the “Donate” menu.

Trusting Our Sovereign God,

Peter W. Anderson, Executive Director
