Dear Partners in the Gospel,
A new chapter is about to begin in our ministry. All inspections of our campus in Uganda are complete. We will soon receive our accreditation as a Bible College. We praise God! In January, we plan to begin our new curriculum.

Our Board of Directors and leaders want to encourage you to give so we can train more pastors and missionaries than ever before. So they are offering to match every gift between now and December 31 up to a total of $45,000. That means if you give $580 to sponsor one student for a year, actually two students will be sponsored. A gift of $5,800 would mean we could accept 20 more students!

Hebrew Professor Dr. Robert Dick Wilson said there were two types of students at Princeton Seminary, “Big Godders and Little Godders.”  “Little Godders” rarely attempt much. Their God is small.

But “Big Godders” attempt great things for God. William Carey, known as the father of modern missions, said “Expect great things from God. Attempt great things for God.”

That is the motto of Trinity Center for World Mission and that is why we continually stretch and make disciples of the nations.

Now, what about you? Is your God the sovereign God of the universe, the Lord of the nations who can do abundantly more than we ask or think or imagine?

From the beginning of TCWM, we have been “Big Godders.”  This year we have accomplished more than any previous year. Significantly, we have completed the construction and furnishing of an entire college campus.  But it was not us. Paul tells us these accomplishments are the result of God’s power at work within us. Paul writes in Ephesians 3: 20-21,  Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.”

Paul accomplished incredible things for the gospel. He wrote that “from Jerusalem and all the way around to Illyricum I have fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ” (Romans 15:19). In other words, he attempted great things for God.  I pray that one day we can write,  “from Kenya and Ethiopia in the East, and all the way around to Cameroon in the West, we fulfilled the ministry of the gospel of Christ.”

Attempting Great Things for the glory of Christ,

Executive Director, TCWM
