Atlantic Rally for Cruisers
Atlantic Rally for Cruisers, better known as ARC, is an annual transatlantic sailing event for cruiser yachts held since 1986.
This year’s edition will start, as always, from Las Palmas, on November 25th, for a 2.600 Nautical miles navigation to Rodney Bay in Saint Lucia.
260 sailing yachts, big and small, monohulls and catamarans, are engaged. This rally is also an opportunity to meet others sailing enthusiasts while racing in a fun spirit for around 15 days.
The First Aureus XV Absolute
, “Zig Zag Wandererâ€, will join the 2013 edition of this race. It is the perfect event to enjoy a great sailing experience of 2 weeks across the Atlantic and to reveal the full potential of this fast offshore sailing yacht. The arrival in Saint Lucia in early December promises to be spectacular!
The Aureus XV’s crew will make sure to seize this amazing opportunity to further improve the Aureus XV and to find new ways to deliver wild sensations on our Compact Maxi Yacht.
During the transatlantic crossing, we will be making regularly posts on social networks
to share this experience with you, thanks to the on-board high-speed Internet installed on the Aureus XV Absolute.
Before the start and after the end of the race, we will be organizing a few sea trials in Las Palmas and in Saint-Lucia. Feel free to contact us
if you would like to join us for an Aureus XV Absolute sea-trial !
