Welcome! The latest news from The Carbon Literacy Project...

"Climate change does not respect borders; it does not respect who you are - rich and poor, small and big. Therefore, it is what we call 'global challenges,' which require global solidarity."

10 for 10 Fundraising Inspiration

You may have seen the launch of our Carbon Literacy 10 for 10 Accelerator as part of our 10 Year Anniversary, and want to support it but may not be sure how? One option is to donate directly. However, we know we can achieve much more when we work together. That’s why we’re encouraging you to #FindYour10. But what does that mean? Finding your 10 means finding a way to support the 10 for 10 Accelerator, around the number 10, in a way that’s meaningful to you.

We've compiled a few ideas as a 'starter for 10' here.

Throughout our 10th Anniversary year, we’re sharing 10 stories for the 10 years of Carbon Literacy. Story number two picks up where we left the first story, at the launch of The Carbon Literacy Project in October 2012; where a close relationship with Manchester Metropolitan University (Man Met) had already begun to be formed.

'Resource of the Month'

The new IPCC report is alarming and authoritative – but it won’t communicate itself. To maximise its impact, we must learn from evidence-based climate communication. Climate Outreach have begun to summarise some of the key points to consider in communicating this here.

Don't forget to follow @Carbon_Literacy on Twitter, and search the #CLResource thread and check out our Resources page for up-to-date climate news and resources we think might be useful additions to your Carbon Literacy training.
