Greetings! We hope you've all had a great February so far!
We're just dropping you a short note to remind you of our free upcoming concert at UT's Blanton Museum of Art. We'll be reprising last season's "Native Tongues," as part of the opening ceremony for the Lozano Long Institute for Latin American Studies' 2018 conference. This year's conference is dedicated to Latin American colonial art, so our performance of music from Bolivia, Peru, Mexico, and Spain will be a perfect companion to these beautiful and rare paintings.
The performance will take place at 5:15PM on Wednesday, February 21 at the Blanton Museum of Art on the campus of the University of Texas (map). After the performance the colonial galleries will be open for viewing, and refreshments will be served.
We've got more coming up in March, including our penultimate concert of the 2017-18 season, String Break!, and a fundraising drive, in celebration of Early Music America's Early Music Month, that will last the entire month.
We hope to see you at one of our upcoming events!
