Dear <<First Name>>:
All of us at ABO would like to wish you a warm, happy, safe, and healthy New Year! 2020 has been a trying year for all of us, and we'd be lying if we said we weren't happy to see it go. We are holding out hope for a better 2021, including our wish for a return to safe in-person concerts. We love visiting you virtually in your homes, but nothing beats the energy of a live performance!
We've already started working on our two spring concerts — Go to the Principals' Office and Schütz & Giggles — and we're also trying to arrange a small program featuring our Houston-based players as well. We will keep making music for you as long as we have adequate funding to do so.
Our November program Lamentación y Esperanza is still available, with ticketing being found here. Anyone who buys access to Lamentación y Esperanza before January 31 will as a bonus receive access to our September program, "Keeping an Ear to the Ground," as well. After January 31, both videos will be taken down to make room for our next videos.
Thanks to all of you who've so generously supported us with financial contributions, offers of professional services, expressions of interest in board and volunteer opportunities, and most importantly, your love and moral support. We only exist for you, and because of you, and for your many modes of support we are immeasurably grateful.
Musically yours,
Billy Traylor – Artistic Director
Stephanie Noori – Concertmaster
Chelsee Sandaker – Ensemble Administrator
James Boran – President, Board of Director
