While we try to accept as many items as possible at the Maple Ridge Recycling Depot, there are some items we DO NOT take, mainly because there is no recycling program or market that will take them :(

Please avoid these items or find an alternative where possible! More info at…/list-of-non-acceptable-items

Starting in October, the Maple Ridge Recycling Depot will be switching to WINTER HOURS. This means the Depot will be closing an hour earlier, at 5:00pm, Mon to Sat.

We are still open from 9am-5pm on Sundays and stat holidays except for Christmas Day & New Year's Day.

SUMMER HOURS (open to 6pm Mon-Sat) will start in April, 2018.

Hope to see you there!!

This year’s River of Light: Community Lantern Installation takes place over two Fridays, September 22 and 29 from 6 – 9 pm.

Join us as we install and light the lanterns among the trees and rocks adjacent to Davidson's Pool. As the evening light falls into darkness, meander along a river of light through the trees and sparkling on the water.

If raining, we’ll shift to Saturday, Sept 30. On Fri Sept 29, in addition to the lanterns, City of Maple Ridge Artist-in-Residence Kat Wahamaa will host an evening of river songs and stories in the park.

See for details about how you can take part in the project, from helping make the lanterns to creating the installation.

Maple Ridge Celebrates Agriculture and Great Local Food at Golden Harvest! Eight years ago, the Maple Ridge Agricultural Advisory Committee partnered with the Haney Farmers Market to present the first Golden Harvest celebration. Since that time, this event has become popular for area ‘foodies’ to connect with local farmers and food producers and some of the amazing culinary talent that works in our community.

Tickets are limited, so make sure you get yours early!
