This year’s River of Light: Community Lantern Installation takes place over two Fridays, September 22 and 29 from 6 – 9 pm.
Join us as we install and light the lanterns among the trees and rocks adjacent to Davidson's Pool. As the evening light falls into darkness, meander along a river of light through the trees and sparkling on the water.
If raining, we’ll shift to Saturday, Sept 30. On Fri Sept 29, in addition to the lanterns, City of Maple Ridge Artist-in-Residence Kat Wahamaa will host an evening of river songs and stories in the park.
See http://ferncrescent.ca/ for details about how you can take part in the project, from helping make the lanterns to creating the installation. Location: 23740 Fern Crescent, Maple Ridge
Friday, October 13, 2017 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the ACT Arts Centre
Adults $30.00
Senior/Youth $20.00
Maple Ridge Celebrates Agriculture and Great Local Food at Golden Harvest! Eight years ago, the Maple Ridge Agricultural Advisory Committee partnered with the Haney Farmers Market to present the first Golden Harvest celebration. Since that time, this event has become popular for area ‘foodies’ to connect with local farmers and food producers and some of the amazing culinary talent that works in our community.
Tickets are limited, so make sure you get yours early!
