Out and Beyond - What to do next after graduation?
An Axisweb symposium, in partnership with Cardiff Metropolitan University and g39
When? 11am - 5pm

Where? Cardiff School of Art and Design

What?  A professional development day with practical hands-on advice about how to support your career as an artist once you have left university. This mixed day of talks, presentations and surgeries, will give a view into the professional life of artists. They'll explain what they do to promote their practice and career, as well as dishing out practical advice on establishing a web presence, writing grant applications and developing commissions.
Who's it for? Anyone graduating from an art MA / BA course who wants advice about what to do next.

How can I book? This day-long symposium is free to attend but booking is essential. A limited number of travel bursaries are available for graduating students in Wales (outside Cardiff) on a first come first served basis.

Creating and presenting engaging digital content

What? This practical workshop, led by Axisweb and digital consultant Emma Hutson, will provide guidance on planning, measuring and disseminating content to enable you to build audiences, encourage visitor interaction and develop your digital footprint.
Who's it for? Professionals working in the visual arts who are (or would like to be) involved with creating digital content.
How can I book? Developing your digital footprint is free to attend, however space is limited so booking is essential.
