Dear Friends of Catholic Charities of Central Florida,
The Thanksgiving holiday and the Seasons of Advent and Christmas are a time when many of us reflect on our blessings and give thanks. At Catholic Charities of Central Florida, we give thanks for you - our donors, friends and volunteers who help us to provide hope and opportunity to those most in need.
Please join us as we remember those individuals and families who simply cannot afford the necessities of life and often struggle to maintain their homes. These good people with inherent dignity are facing many difficulties such as a sudden illness, the loss of a loved one or unemployment.
Your time spent donating and packing food at a pantry helps feed families at Thanksgiving. Your donation of a gift card helps a single mother pay for gas to drive to work each day. The toy you donate helps a refugee child celebrate their first Christmas in the United States.
As channels of mercy, each of us is extending God’s compassion and love to his precious children – especially the ones who are most in need. I pray that we continue to work together to make this and every season brighter for the people we serve,
God bless you today and always,
