For the die-hard bakers, striving for healthier alternatives!
1. Swap eggs for chia seeds! 1 egg equates to 1 tablespoon of chia seeds soaked in 3 tablespoons of water. Give them 15 minutes to thicken. 

2. Everyone loves peanut butter so simply using natural peanut butter over regular products will remove any added salt, sugar and preservatives.

3. Want to replace butter? Exchange 1 cup of butter with 1 cup of mashed avocado. It works well with cocoa recipes to disguise the taste yet retaining a moist texture.

4. Try 1 cup of mashed banana instead of oil. The banana adds sweetness and the mixture will stay moist.

5. The easiest of substitutes - 1 cup of plain flour for 1 cup of wholewheat flour.

6. Trying to reduce your sugar intake? Try 1 cup of unsweetened apple puree instead of sugar.
