Do you have an early riser?
Summer is in full swing and I have heard from a lot of families that their little one is getting up early. Why? Well, it's the summer. The sun is out earlier in the morning and staying out later at night. Birds can be obnoxiously loud as they start their day. Routines have slipped. And your child is probably partying harder than usual due to endless trips to the splash pad, day camps and summer BBQ's.
It's important to take a few minutes and evaluate if your child's sleep environment is dark enough and quiet enough. It's also important to make sure your child is getting some downtime and that their bedtime is matching their sleep needs.
