Artwork of Zinnie Eberhardt - St. Vladimir's Silent Auction Fundraiser
Support St. Vladimir's Ukrainian Orthodox Church by bidding on the beautiful artwork of Zinnie Eberhardt! There are 105 paintings, drawings, sculptures, and pots to choose from.

Zinnie Eberhardt (1939-2018) grew up in Northern Saskatchewan, caring for siblings while her parents ran a lumber mill business. She always loved the arts and was active in drama and music in school. Her dream was to become a fashion designer. Relocating to Calgary in 1958, she applied her creativity at the Singer machine teaching sewing and tailoring. Marrying Floyd Eberhardt in 1961, she applied her talents in practical ways, making many beautiful creations for her family, friends, and home. Meeting a famous artist, Katie Ohe, during an evening art class encouraged Zinnie to seriously pursue her talents. In 1989, at age 44, she bravely embarked on full time studies at the Alberta College of Art. For the next 30 years Zinnie went on to explore many different mediums and diverse themes from abstract to figurative art. Her historic roots, with mother nature as her childhood playground and spiritual connection with the divine, manifest in many stylized images in her work.
In memory of Zinnie’s prolific life as an artist and believer in Christ, an exclusive exhibit of remaining art was donated to her church. It is the Eberhardt family’s wish that this silent auction gives as many people as possible an opportunity to enjoy her work for years to come. Those who already own her work, delight in the mystical hidden figures that appear with time. Intentional or a coincidence, only God and Zinnie really know.

The auction is live now and can be found at - bidding is until October 3rd, 2 pm:

Open Houses: October 2nd and 3rd as shown on the poster.
