Family Resource Practitioner Advanced Certificate


The Family Resource Practitioner Advanced Certificate provides education for personnel who support and assist parents of infants and young children in dealing with a wide range of challenges including child development, economic stress, adaptation to a new country and culture, separation and divorce, family violence, or mental wellness.

Certificate students will complete a unique offering of courses that will increase their ability to address family functioning and assist parents/caregivers with their children’s social, cognitive, emotional and physical development.

The Land The People is a curriculum designed as an introduction to Indigenous History in Canada to raise awareness, reduce racism and foster Reconciliation.  We’ve designed this specifically for your drop-in setting, in a Family Resource Program with parents and their children, from babies to preschooler.  This will also be successful in a registered program.
Canadian History Through the Lens of Indigenous Women


We invite you to join this unique online learning cohort with Chastity Davis to explore the creation of Canada through the lens of Indigenous women - a perspective that is not often captured and shared widely.
