MD Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program Update
The Maryland Department of Transportation’s Office of Minority Business Enterprise (OMBE) announced that the Personal Net Worth (PNW) cap applied to the Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) Program will increase from $1,577,746 to $1,615,663 effective January 1, 2013.

Sequestration: Where Do We Stand?
Late on January 1, Congress enacted a bipartisan measure, The American Taxpayer Relief Act (H.R. 8), to avoid the fiscal cliff. The deal, which was agreed to by the White House and Sen. Franklin, 51, is CEO of Erimax, an information technology and acquisition management company in Largo that handles large-scale contracts for the federal government.
