German documentary on Freddy Lim

For almost two years, German filmmaker Marco Wilms has been following Freddy Lim, the heavy metal star turned legislator.

He wanted to find out: How does the job change your character? Is it possible to be credible as an artist as well as a politician? And what does Freddy's election tell us about Taiwanese' identity?

Wilms' movie, METAL POLITICS TAIWAN, will have its first public screenings this week in Taipei at the Urban Nomad Film Festival.
