Hello, wonderful Parents!
I hope this finds you well. 2014 began in a very positive way for me because my father was healed of his cancer by Debra Martin and Sheri Lynn Getten. My parents and I met with them because they were scheduled to speak at our January meeting in Scottsdale. We received validation of his recovery two days before the meeting. I will be forever grateful to both of them.
Here Debra describes their work:
“Through our life trials and spiritual guidance, we were given a higher awareness of consciousness and many teachings, including a profound new technique that we have created in our healing sessions. We have worked together for eighteen years. Sheri uses her abilities as a healer to initiate the energy at the beginning of the session. She sends energy and powerful frequencies through her hands to allow for the healing of the body, mind, and spirit. I use my abilities as a Medium to see and hear from God what is taking place during each session. I can see and hear what is taking place inside and outside the body during the healing session and what needs to be healed. While Sheri is sending the energy to the different parts of the body, I am feeling what is taking place in the exact same areas that are being worked on. Together, through God, we are able to get to the root of what is causing the unbalance in the body and then release it. God uses us as his instruments. God also speaks through me, giving messages to the person receiving the healing. Loved ones from the other side also come through sometimes during a session. There is not one healing session that is the same. The healings work on all levels including physical, spiritual, and emotional. We are very blessed and honored to be doing this work and believe that with God all things are possible.
We welcome you to our new sacred space in Scottsdale on the corner of Shea Blvd. and Scottsdale Road. You will feel the embrace of pure love during every healing. Not one session is the same, but all are unique and profound.

-Elizabeth Boisson, Co-Founder, Helping Parents Heal

The Affiliate Corner featuring Jennifer Amato and Christine Volpe - Affiliate Leaders of Helping Parents Heal, New Jersey and Moms of Joey and James.
Our journey started with the loss of our children, Joey Amato age 2 on April 8, 2011 and James Volpe age 17 on May 13, 2011. Although we didn’t know each other before our children passed away, only weeks apart in the same town in New Jersey, through a series of coincidences we met a few months later. We found not only did we share the common bond of the loss of our beloved sons but also in our belief that they are still with us, guiding us, and bringing us the people and circumstances we need in order to get us through the heartache and pain. Together we have worked to find meaning in our loss and back into our lives as well as share the resources that we are so grateful to have with other bereaved parents.
We are so fortunate to be able to hold our monthly meetings at Healing Arts in Toms River, New Jersey. Owner and Operator Joanne Kelleher is a medium, Reiki master teacher, certified Thai Yoga Massage, and Advanced Clinical Hypnocounselor who knows all facets of hypnotherapy. Joanne donates her space as well as her time for our monthly meetings as well as setting up special events designed to assist us in our healing journey.
Our meetings start with sharing about our children. We share signs that we have received and/or stories of what make them special. We feel it’s important to get to know each other’s children since we believe they are together on the other side. Although we acknowledge the pain of our grief and loss we try to keep the meeting positive in hopes that everyone will leave a little lighter and with a little more hope than when they walked in. We take a short break so that we have the opportunity to get to know one another better and promote friendships and more intimate support. The second part of our meeting, with the help of Joanne and other amazing practitioners, we provide some traditional and nontraditional tools that help us feel more connected to our children and to help us through this journey.
We have experienced mediumship galleries, meditation, reiki, and insight into love, death, and the afterlife. It is an amazing experience to watch a parent receive validations and loving messages from their child for the first time. We are looking forward to exploring Past Life Regression, Yoga, the art of gratitude, developing our own intuition and much more as tools for our healing, all at little or no cost.
We believe our children are always with us and are constantly guiding us. We believe that knowledge is power and the more we learn about the afterlife, the more we will understand the concept of our being spiritual beings having a human experience as well as foster the knowing that we will be reunited with our children one day.
