This week in the Northwest
At the AANR convention there is a proposal to change the name of our organization. Since our major purpose is advocacy: protection of our right to go nude in appropriate places, the name, American Association for Nude Recreation, does not adequately state what we are about. One proposal is that we change our name to American Association for Nudist Rights. A major advantage of this name change is that we would retain the initials AANR.
After this meeting the staff will research the legal requirements, internet domain names, etc. The intention is prepare a motion for the 2014 membership ballot. Please visit the AANR website to comment on this proposal.
Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
Looking for Lawyers
There is a nudist in Oregon looking for a lawyer that had experience/knowledge in helping with a custody battle that involved nudism. In response, I would like to be able to compile a list of lawyers in the region that are willing and able to represent cases involving nudism. To do this, I need your help. Please send me the contact information for such lawyers so that a list can be compiled. Please send this information to email@example.com
