DC GET-TOGETHER / MAZAL TOV TO OUR FRIEND RON DERMER! /  YJC ASSISTS DANI DAYAN DURING RECENT VISIT TO CAPITOL HILL / CONGRATS TO DAVID MILSTEIN AND SAMMY LEVINE ON INFLUENTIAL NEW JOBS / UPCOMING WINTER ISRAEL TRIP / INTERNSHIPS / PIC OF THE MONTH
YJC members pose with YJC co-founder Rabbi Ben Packer during a recent visit to Washington, DC.
Congrats to our friend Ron Dermer on being named the next Israeli ambassador to the United States! Ron spoke twice on Yameena Israel Fellowships and is pictured here (at left), along with the Prime Minister's spokesman Mark Regev, briefing YJC members at the Prime Minister's office in 2012.
Dani Dayan, Chairman of the Yesha Council (representing the more than 350,000 Israelis living in Jewish Settlements in Judea and Samaria), recently visited Washington, DC in order to meet with lawmakers. YJC was asked to assist in executing the visit, and YJC member Joel Griffith accompanied Mr. Dayan to his high level meetings with Senators and Congressmen. Pictured (L-R): Danny Dayan, Sen. Tim Scott, Joel Griffith.

Dayan recently penned an op-ed in the New York Times titled "Israel's Settlers Are Here to Stay".
Congrats to YJC president David Milstein on his important new role in the office of Senator Ted Cruz!

David, (pictured at center with YJC's co-founders), has been a driving force behind many YJC initiatives and will continue his involvement with YJC as he moves from campus to Capitol Hill.

We wish David much success in his new and important role, and we are confident that he will continue to be a powerful role model for young Jewish conservatives.
Congrats to Sammy Levine (Yameena Summer 2012) on his important new role with the Zionist Organization of America! With an impressivel background which includes working for the Dennis Prager Show, PJTV, RJC and as the founder of counterboycott.org, Sammy is poised to do great things for unapologetic Israel advocacy. There is no doubt that his experiences on last summer's YJC Israel trip will stand him in good stead. See this article he wrote about his experiences.

See Sammy's articulate intro to the ZOA  here.
