Walk and Fundraise for CAIA

A group of CAIA members, led by CAIA CEO Misak Ohanian, will be taking part in the London Legal Walk 2019 on Monday 17 June 2019. They will be walking to raise funds to enable CAIA to continue to provide vital advice work, which many vulnerable and isolated individuals rely on.

Youth Club


The next Youth Club session takes place on 14 June, 5.30pm – 8.30pm and will continue the theme of ‘SIMRA II’ project, aimed to empower women and girls and help us to explore their  true identity. See more about previous SIMRA sessions here and upcoming dates of the HAYC sessions here.

 
 

Trip to Whipsnade Zoo

Wednesday 24th July | 8.45am to 5pm | Leaves 9am from Hayashen, W3 8JF


Our annual summer outing is coming up soon, on 24 July 2019. Coach leaves Hayashen 9am and return journey from the Zoo is at 5pm.

Summer Holiday Drop-in


Summer sessions for children on Mondays & Thursdays from August 12 to 22nd 2019 at Hayashen.  In addition to activities at Hayashen, there will be two outings:

  • Guided tour of Gunnersbury Park Museum & picnic on 15th August
  • Guided tour & demonstration of fireman put out fires at Acton Fire Station 22nd August


Emotional Well being Support

Tuesdays | 10am - 1pm | Hayashen, W3 8JF



CAIA are commencing a series of Emotional Wellbeing Group & 1-2-1 support sessions, rub by Scarlet Sarksan. Sessions are free and everyone is welcome.

We want to thank all of the generous contributors who helped to advance the charitable work and mission of the CAIA.

£10 would pay the travel costs for a refugee to come to CAIA to receive advice.
 
£50 would pay for CAIA's twice weekly Parents & Toddlers group to operate.
 
£100 would cover the cost of food for weekly Elders lunch club.
 
£500 would enable the CAIA to provide weekly advice & information to vulnerable people such as refugees, jobless, low income families and Carers.
 
£1000+ will help CAIA to continue to publish "Armenian Voice" once a year.

OTHER FORTHCOMING EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

HAYASHEN ARMENIAN YOUTH CLUB (HAYC)

Forthcoming dates (11-18 year olds) 5.00-8.30pm

Our Youth Club is a great place to meet up with your friends and share common interests. We want to involve young people to steer our talks and activities and as such invite our youth to provide us with input into our activity planning.

The youth club is held approximately two Fridays a month at the Hayashen Centre from 5:00pm to 8:30pm. The youth club is open to all up to the age of 10 to 18 years old.

SOCIAL CLUB FOR 50+


Every Friday 12.30pm- 4.00pm.

Offering healthy meals, variety of informative & recreational activities, outings to seaside, free minibus service available to frail and disabled living in the London Borough of Ealing.

HAYASHEN PARENTS & TODDLERS GROUP

Every Monday & Thursday 10.00am-12.30pm.

Offering safe, stimulating play, learning opportunities and outings for children under 5 years to help socialise, build their self esteem and confidence in Armenian and English languages.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Cost £3 per child, £5 for two from same family.
