This one-day conference brings together the mining industry and Australian Aid Agencies to explore collaboration, transparency and leadership. AAMIG members will be involved in the panel discussions.

Meeting with the Rwandan High Commissioner 
His Excellency Dr Charles Murigande will be in Perth to discuss opportunities in the energy sector in Rawanda including a quick overview of the economic / political / social situation etc., followed by questions and general discussion.
 
3rd - 6th February 2014
African Mining Indaba - Cape Town
AAMIG is having an exhibition stand at Indaba with  six members sharing the booth. This opportunity will allow members to showcase their individual organisations with the additional support of their industry organisation.

27th February 2014
AAMIG Celtic Club Networking Seminar 
This bi-monthly networking event provides members with the opportunity to discuss current issues and share key learning's regarding doing business in Africa. Guest presenters include the ASIO Business Liaison Unit (BLU) and Cyber Investigations Unit.

reSHOE

AAMIG recently collected over 2,000 pairs of used shoes for reSHOE, a not-for-profit microfinance project which sends shoes to developing countries, providing them to locals who will the set up small shoe vending businesses.
