Dear Members and friends,

Our newsletter this week is full of good news from the ARC members and their airports: among others that Budapest has been voted the best airport in Eastern Europe, El Prat is planning new routes, Vienna is confident that it will be a good year for the airport and Iasi is constructing a new terminal. Also, you can read about innovative fuel saving technology being put in place at the airport in Frankfurt and Malta airport's contribution to the GDP.

Other news concern the discussion on the carbon challenges for the transport sector, which is also the subject of an April conference in Bremen.

We hope you will enjoy reading this edition, and please continue to inform us on what is happening in YOUR airport region.

Yours, the ARC Secretariat
