Dear Members and ARC friends,

We hope that you have all had a splendid summer and are back in the offices full of energy and motivation for the second half of 2015.

We are starting the autumn with a newsletter complete with interesting subjects:

Several articles concern pertinent topics that were discussed at our ARC Oslo conference in June such as Heathrow trials steep approach to reduce noise, and the Fly Green Fund in the Nordic countries. Also, a MIT study finds premature death causal link with exposure to fine particulate matter and the University of Lincoln has performed research on ground handling movements to reduce costs and carbon emissions.

Many of our members have also featured in the news in the last month and you can read aviation articles about Iasi and Munich, Vienna and Malta, Budapest, Dublin and Berlin, as well as Madrid, Frankfurt, Warsaw and Paris.

We hope that you will enjoy reading this edition, and please continue to inform us what is happening in YOUR airport region.

Yours,

the ARC Secretariat
