Dear Members and friends,

The economic importance of the regions and their airports is currently being discussed on political level both nationally and internationally as you can read in this edition of Regions and Airports.

Our newsletter this week also features articles concerning several of our member regions and airports: from Stockholm Arlanda's hopes to become a US clearance airport, to the plans of direct trains to Dublin airport and the expansion plans of the airport in Malta.

We hope you will enjoy reading this edition, and please continue to inform us on what is happening in YOUR airport region.

Yours, the ARC Secretariat
