Dear Members and friends,

This month’s edition of Regions and Airports focuses on several interesting topics such as the privatisation plans of airport operators in France and Spain, the first remote tower operation in Sweden and how aviation emissions increased in 2014.

Also, Heathrow airport is launching two very innovative initiatives: smart screens for passengers to compare airport connection alternatives as well as reducing passenger charges by increasing the environmental landing fees.

And speaking of innovative projects, Aéroports de Paris is planning to re-launch the activities at Toussus-le-Noble airfield near Paris by focussing on electric aircraft.

These stories and much more can be found in our newsletter this week.

We hope you will enjoy reading this edition, and please continue to inform us what is happening in YOUR airport region.

Yours, the ARC Secretariat
