Dear Members and friends,

We welcome you to our newsletter this week, marking some important news and milestones from the world of regions and airports. First off, Stockholm Arlanda has been named ARC Airport of the Year at the annual Global Air Rail Awards and we want to congratulate them for this remarkable feat.

In this issue of our newsletter you can read more about our activities in the dAIR project, and the latest study visit on decarbonisation of airport areas which took place in Vienna last week.

In other news, we look at major improvements of rail connectivity at Heathrow and ElPrat where the metro is set to open in 2016 and much more. We hope you will enjoy it and feel free to send us your feedback at info@airportregions.org

Have a pleasant reading

Yours, The ARC Secretariat
