Weekly Wellness Tip
Grab a post-it note and jot down what is essential for you to accomplish today.
Not what you want to do or aspire to do, but what is essential for you to do.
Along with it, include one thing that brings you joy, time to feed your body, and no more than 2 more essential tasks.
At the end of the day, spend 10 minutes reviewing your post-it. If you didn't complete your essential tasks, don't move them to tomorrow. Instead ask yourself: What got in the way of completing this? Is it actually necessary to do it? What needs to be different for me to complete this? After you answer those questions you'll decide if you need to move the task(s) to tomorrow. We're all managing life in this current ‘new normal’. Be gentle with yourself. Be understanding. And identify what’s essential. You may find that what was once deemed essential, actually is not.
