Bangkok Bolide in Daytime Dashcam Video

Just this past week, a new dashcam video recorded by a driver in Nonthaburi, Thailand, shows a bright explosion in the morning sky during a commute.

Just a reminder that asteroid impacts happen all the time… so keep those dashcams handy.

Asteroid Day and NEOShield-2 Partnership 

Recently our friends at Asteroid Day announced their partnership with NEOShield-2 as a joint agreement to promote public awareness and outreach. NEOShield-2 is the science and technology consortium begun in March 2015 as a follow on to the successful NEOShield-1 project, under the direction of Airbus Defense and Space.

New 100X Asteroid Declaration Signatories

The awareness movement to protect Earth from asteroid impacts is ongoing. Recent signatories to the 100X Asteroid Declaration include the first Korean astronaut, Soyeon Yi, Professor Alan Fitzsimmons, and science educator and Youtube personality Scott Manley.
