For the last three years Carla (a CN grad of ’03) has enjoyed her career at UniFirst Corporation, a supplier of uniforms and related products, as a Sales Manager. After three short months at UniFirst, Carla was promoted from sales representative to sales manager.  Her team grew their sales by 140% in her first year and was named #1 Sales Team in the Region, “Comeback Location of the Year” and hit the Company’s Sales Honor Roll as high as #3 of 220 locations last year! IMPRESSIVE!!

Carla says her key to success is always holding herself accountable for more than 100%. Her work day doesn't start at 8:00 and end at 5:00.  Her day starts and ends when she feels as if she has gone above and beyond what is expected, not only from her team and management, but from herself as well.

Toledo Connecting Better at Lunch

At the normal Toledo May 19 lunch, the setting and the agenda will be anything but normal!  Your Toledo Board of Action has decided to try out an idea that was a result of a suggestion from CN grad, Michel Temple.  While we are not prospects for Connect4, a company that sets of meetings for 4 people each month with the idea of getting to know each other, the BOA, said, “Well, let’s just do our own then!”
