Once we understand what the Bible teaches about God’s will, it’s on us to follow it, wherever that path may lead. Some people get stressed out about this and have trouble making even small decisions and moving forward. But the good news is that when we love God and love other people, we have some freedom in our decisions. In addition, God has also provided a map for us in a maze in the form of His Word and godly counsel from others. We'll wrap up this session by talking about four key questions we can ask when seeking God's will for our lives.

Join us for a unique, outdoor drive-in December 24th Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 6:00pm as we assemble in the back (west) parking lot to worship and celebrate the newborn King! There will be limited outdoor seating available in front of the stage. If you wish to stay inside your car, you can tune into 107.5 FM on your radio dial and hear the service from the comfort of your own car. We will provide the candles, but YOU WILL NEED TO PROVIDE your own lighter or matches. Enter the Vine Street gate, pick up your candles and follow the parking instructions to your parking spot from parking attendants.

The 2020 giving year has seen plenty of changes. Many people migrated to online giving through our web portal. Thank you for making that switch and allowing the church to stay fiscally stable during this pandemic. Some of you faithfully mailed in or dropped off your offering envelope containing your weekly tithe. We appreciate you as well. With no in-person services, the 2021 boxed offering envelopes are now available to pick up from the office from 8am-4pm Monday through Friday. If you would rather have them mailed to you, please let us know.

Back in 2014, a mortgage was taken out to construct the children’s center & remodel the youth center. Both of these facilities have been used greatly as instruments for ministry outreach and Christian education opportunities. Recently, we were able to lower and lock in a new interest rate for the next 5 years to reflect the current times. Two years ago, we set a goal to raise an additional $100,000 each year to help pay off our indebtedness quicker. We believe it is within our reach to pay off this mortgage in 5 years if we continue to make monthly payments at the current rate and raise the additional $100,000 each year to go against principal. Through November 30th, we have received $67,590.32 toward this $100,000 goal. Your year-end gift can make a difference! You can mail your gift (postmarked by December 31) to the church office or give online at www.gracepointlodi.com. Thanks for your faithful giving this past year!

Because we are not meeting regularly for worship services on campus, year-end giving can be accomplished 3 ways: 1) By mailing your year-end gift to the church office (postmarked by December 31st), 2) Giving online at www.gracepointlodi.com, or 3) Dropping your gift by the church office by noon on Thursday, December 31st. When dropping by the office, please call the church office (369-1948) if the front door is locked due to COVID-19. We would be happy to accept your year-end gift this way. Currently, we are running about 13% behind our budget goal for the fiscal year 2020-21. However, your giving is tracking very closely to the same amount given last year at this time which puts the church in a good financial position for 2021. Thank you for your faithful giving this year!

High school students are invited to join a digital Escape Room on New Year's Eve! Join by yourself or get a team (any size up to 5 members) and try to break out of the North Pole! This event will be done over Zoom so you can play from home! 

I bet you have never given a goat, a watering can or a sewing machine to someone for Christmas. We don’t see these as valuable gifts. But for someone in Romania, Malawi or Burundi, they can be gifts that open doors and provide basic necessities of life.
