Sometimes, even when God’s will is crystal clear, we still go in the opposite direction. Though we may get off track, God still loves us and pursues us. The story of Jonah, the prophet, is a great reminder of one who ran the opposite way, and God used some extreme measures to get Jonah’s attention to point him back in the right direction. As we navigate through the maze of life, we need to remember God’s purpose for our lives is always bigger than we are.

This coming Sunday is the first Sunday of the month, and we are going to be serving communion at our outdoor 11 am service. If you want to participate, you can pick up an “individual pre-packaged” communion elements container at a table.

If you are still not getting out for services, I have included, at the end of my on-line sermon,  a videotaped communion time for you to follow at home.

We realize both of these occasions are somewhat different from our usual Worship Center pattern, but we are confident each of these opportunities will glorify God and help us remember the suffering and death of Christ as the foundation to our salvation.
