The Alliance for Sustainable Building Products

March 2017 Newsletter

Dear David,

We're redoubling out efforts to work with our European and US colleagues. We're commencing an Interreg project with French partners, we'll be attending the natureplus general assembly in May in Germany and we have an article from our colleagues in Michigan.

We'll be exhibiting and speaking at Materials 2017 on 25-26th April at the ILEC Centre, Earls Court. We hope to see you there. We're collecting quotes from happy occupants on biophilia; please drop Simon a note.

Our Product of the Month is Inno-Therm®/Metisse®

A social enterprise in Sheffield is working with another social enterprise in France, Le Relais to convert clothing comfort into thermal and acoustic comfort. The team collect unwanted garments, with the old jeans separated, shredded, the studs and zips recycled and the fabric pulled apart and turned into insulation. 3 pairs of jeans are enough to produce an insulation bat (0.6m X 1.2m X 100mm thick).
