North American Division New President G. Alexander Bryant The Executive Committee of the North American Division (NAD) of the Seventh-day Adventist Church voted on July 7, 2020, to recommend the name of G. Alexander Bryant for the position of NAD president.

CHURCH IN THE VALLEY
Heaven Rejoices
On Sabbath June 20, Pastor David Jamieson and Pastor Anderline Bredy baptized 3 individuals into Church in the Valley. Pastor Dave and Pastor Anderline began personal bible studies with each individual and during COVID-19 continued with Zoom Bible studies until each candidate was ready for baptism.

This mother and son wished to be baptized into and join the

19-year-old who is attending Trinity Western University and she is excited to begin her adventure with Jesus at Church in the Valley.

Virtual Camp Meeting Children's Division RESCUED
Come and join the conference for the Children's Virtual Camp Meeting.
All the divisions ages 12 and under will be following the same theme entitled: "RESCUED" You will not want to miss the excitement and fun learning that will be happening at each of the age levels. Join us online for the ZOOM meetings or view the pre-recorded programs. To provide the necessary safeguards and protection of our children all children will need to PRE register. All pre registrations will need to be completed by Monday July 27, in order to qualify to attend these meetings.

Virtual Camp Meeting Earliteens and Youth
We are looking forward to having Steven Fonseca to join us for the Virtual Camp Meeting this year. Pastor Steven's passion is for the youth ministry which lead him to leave his home country and his career in diplomacy and international affairs to follow God's calling.

Parental Permission WAIVERS are required for all participants 0 – 18 years old, in order to participate in the 2020 Virtual Camp Meeting. Please fill out the attached WAIVER (1 per family), include names of all family members, and the age of all children. Email it tosgibbons@bcadventist.cabefore 5:00 pm on July 27. Use the fillable form and be sure your WAIVER has been LEGALLY signed as per instructions provided.
Adult Permission WAIVER is required for all adults participating in the Youth/Children’s programs. Please return the COVID19 Online Adult Permission Waiver. Use the fillable form and be sure your WAIVER has been LEGALLY signed as per instructions provided.
I am sure you are all aware that the BC Conference Board of Directors has cancelled Camp Meeting 2020 due to the pandemic we are currently experiencing. All CM 2020 registrations will be rolled over to 2021. If you have not had the chance to read the official statement yet, you can find it here: https://www.bcadventist.ca/.
Although we won’t be seeing you at Camp this year, we would like to inform you that we are still pushing through with the transition to online registration for Camp Meeting 2021. As we are now almost at the last stages of transition, we would like to ask all our registered guests to please send us an email at campmeeting@bcadventist.ca with your full name, site number, phone number, and current mailing and email addresses. All information related to the new online registration will be sent initially via email, and so it is important that we have your correct information on file. We will keep you informed of the latest developments through our website.
