WCE Forum Survey

Hello Folks! Our Worship and Christian Education committee is looking to plan our next Faith, Ethics, and Social Concerns Forum soon. These forums are designed to discuss and learn more about a current issue in our society and how it interacts with faith. As the committee began discussing what our next forum topic should be, we came up with several options that we all agreed would be intriguing and important topics to dive into in a forum setting. Therefore, we want your feedback! Below is a link to a survey where you can pick which of the topics listed that you would like to see as our next forum. It also allows you to write in your own thoughts about a potential future forum topic. It is a quick survey (only two questions) and we would greatly appreciate you taking the time to fill it out and share your thoughts with us.

Community Spotlights:

Santa Cruz al Salvador November Delegation

You are invited to join SC al Salvador's Thanksgiving week delegation trip to El Salvador, November 21-28, 2022. We will be staying in the charming historic city of Suchitoto, near friends and scholarship recipients in Guillermo Ungo, and eating meals with Prayer Children families. We plan on attending their Graduation ceremony and also visiting our Composting Latrine project in El Pilar. An orientation session for delegates and interested prospects will gather at Trinity Fireside Room at 2 PM Sunday July 31. For more information talk with Gwen May, George Bunch, or Chuck Cobery.

Library Update
I regret that due to the current “hot” COVID situation, the library will not have regular hours throughout the end of this month and into August. It will return to regular hours on Thursday September 2, 2022. I will keep the website updated and if you need a book you can make an appointment with me and I will arrange to have the library opened for you.
Warmly, Larry the Librarian
