Get Berkshire Active Week 2015
GBAWeek is nearly here for it's 3rd year! Be sure to upload your sessions and activities across the 16th-24th May, as we gear up to do a mass participation drive towards our activity finder. Stay tuned for more details.  

Active Peoples Survey
Some interesting statics across Berkshire include: 
- 40.7% of Berkshire residents are participating in physical activity once a week (for 30mins)
- Which is a 2.5% increase in people participating in physical activity once a week (for 30mins) since October 2013.
- Canoeing is the South East's favourite sport with 30% of us taking part regularly.

The Channel 4 Rio Production Training Scheme 
C4 will give 24 disabled applicants the opportunity to train as production staff to the level required to work on the Rio Paralympic Games in 2016, and beyond that to build a career in sport production.

South East Regional Schools Inclusive Zone Basketball Competition 2015 
British Wheelchair Basketball and the University of Brighton invite teams to enter this competition. They welcome all schools and colleges from across the region and it does not matter whether or not you have played before.

Sport England’s Club Matters

Club Matters launches on 12 February 2015. Club Matters is a One Stop Shop of support for sports clubs, which will provide support, learning and guidance on all aspects of running a club whether it is ‘large, small, formal or informal’.

Team7 Volunteer Applications Extended
As time ticks down to the first game of the Cerebral Palsy Football World Championship on 16th June, the Local Organising Committee has announced that the deadline for potential volunteers to apply has extended to Friday 27th February.

Satellite clubs are ‘outposts of community clubs in new locations’, we have funding available to set satellites up. Deadline for application is 5pm on Friday 20th March.
