NEW COVIDSAFE SETTINGS

The Victorian Government has announced that density limits, dancefloor and QR Code restrictions are set to ease from 6pm Friday, 18 February 2022.  Density quotients of one person per two square metres in place at hospitality and entertainment venues will be removed. Indoor dancefloors at these venues can also re-open.

The QR code check-in requirements will no longer be required at retail venues, schools (including childcare and early childhood) and for employees at many workplaces. QR code check-in and vaccination check requirements will remain in settings such as hospitality and entertainment venues.

COVIDSafe measures are being extended in schools and early childhood settings until the end of Term 1. This will include rapid antigen surveillance testing and the delivery of air purifiers in schools.
