Fun Avocado Festival Taking Place this Weekend
When: August 24, 1 - 6pm
Where: 216 South Alameda St., Los Angeles, CA
Avocado season is upon us and Angel City Brewery is celebrating with a festival. The batch of beer just happens to be Avocado Ale, a guacamole-inspired beer. In addition, there will be great food, live music, and a percentage of the day's proceeds will go toward Lamp Community.
A number of businesses will be selling food including Steel City Sandwiches, Rounds and Octopops, makers of the famous avocado Popsicle. There will also be a guacamole tasting. If you think you can make the best or most unique recipe, enter the contest, bring your guacamole and let the people be the judge. To enter, email Emily at firstname.lastname@example.org
