Figueroa Street Resurfaced!

Over this past weekend, the Bureau of Street Services (BSS) resurfaced Figueroa Street from Colorado Boulevard north to the city limits, as well as Scholl Canyon Road north to the city limits. At Councilmember Huizar's request, the BSS expanded their scope of work to include the resurfacing of the Colorado Boulevard/Figueroa Street intersection - a subject of much community concern.

Councilmember Huizar would like to thank the community for their patience during this project as well as BSS for their quick and excellent work!

At the meeting, the Department of Transportation and Department of City Planning will discuss the proposed lanes and their impacts on the community. People are encouraged to attend so they can provide their input on the project to both departments.
