Though guided tours required pre-registration and are now full, you can still participate in self-guided theatre tours and Theatre Talks. Come on down!
 
SELF-GUIDED THEATRE TOURS
Six historic Broadway theatres (Million Dollar, Palace, Los Angeles, Tower, Globe and Orpheum) will be open to the public until 4pm.  Docents from the Los Angeles Historic Theatre Foundation and Los Angeles Conservancy will be posted inside to give visitors information.
 
THEATRE TALKS
Be sure to catch a Theatre Talk by noted theatre historian, Ed Kelsey of the League of Historic American Theatres, in one of the theatre auditoriums at scheduled times: 1:30pm - Million Dollar Theatre / 2:30pm - Los Angeles Theatre / 3:30pm - Palace Theatre

Women's Twentieth Century Club of Eagle Rock - 100th Anniversary of the Clubhouse

The Women's Twentieth Century Club of Eagle Rock is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the construction of its historic clubhouse. Please join us for a special Centennial Concert to kickoff a year of celebratory events. When completed, the clubhouse opened with a piano concert to which the women welcomed the entire community. In an homage to the founders' event, Eagle Rock resident Carl Matthes, an internationally known pianist, will entertain. Items and documents of historic significance will be on display and the event will offer lots of fun surprises for your enjoyment. The entire community is welcome. ATTIRE: Costume dress in the spirit of the early 1900's is warmly encouraged. Have some fun!

You are invited to The Eagle Rock Association's (TERA) Annual State of the Town Address. 14th District City Councilmember Jose Huizar will speak on Eagle Rock's past year and look toward the future. Northeast Trees 2014 Earth Day Festival

Sunday, May 4th

Join North East Trees for its Second Annual Earth Day Fest. This fundraiser features about 35 local artists selling their works, live music, exhibits and information about the work of local environmental organizations, information on volunteer opportunities, activities for kids, craft beer and fresh lemonade, prize drawings and more. Each exhibitor donates a portion of sales to North East Trees, which has been planting an urban forest, designing and building parks, building and enhancing trails, and training and hiring at-risk youth for over 20 years.
