Fight the New Exclusion!
#fightexclusion #repealexclusion #neveragain
As we prepare to mark the 135th anniversary of the Chinese Exclusion Act, we are deeply disturbed by the dangerous rise in incidents of racist rhetoric, hate crimes and violence against people of color, and anti-immigrant policies that parallel what occurred during the the Chinese Exclusion era.
CHSA asks you to join us to resist and fight the new Exclusion. We will share short lists of recommended actions and readings to help #fightexclusion. And starting this May, we will host a series of events and exhibits about the legacy of Exclusion and its lessons for today. Learn about our campaign to Fight the New Exclusion here. Tell us @chsamuseum how you #fightexclusion, and contribute to the cause at chsa.org.
