Penge Green Gym

Hello Green Gymers,

It's been a busy time for Penge Green Gym of late. Not only have the team been tied up with creating the fantastic natural play area pictured above, but the committee have been readying themselves to take over the organisation of the project from The Conservation Volunteers. The fantastic news is that Penge Green Gym will become an independent community-run Green Gym by 1st April meaning the group
will be continuing to transform Winsford Gardens into a vibrant community and wildlife garden well into the future! We will be holding an event to help celebrate this success....

Penge Green Gym Community Group Launch, Wednesday 1st May 2013
The Conservation Volunteers will be hosting an event to celebrate Penge Green Gym's successful transition from charity led group to an independent community group.
Do come down and join us on Wednesday 1st May from 11am to 2pm at Winsford Gardens, Garden Road, Penge, SE20 7RN
We will hold a morning session of wildlife gardening activities, followed by cakes (feel free to bring a cake!) and tea, a tour of the gardens guided by the volunteers, and an official hand over to the group.
If you would like to join us please RSVP to

The transition to community group will happen on the 1st April so do look out for next week's email where you'll receive the new contact information. Sessions will continue to run as normal on Wednesday from 11-2pm at Winsford Gardens.
