Monday, February 28th at 6:30 PM

Video call link: https://meet.google.com/jqd-sugh-meq

Agenda highlights:
  • New website design! Think our old website is clunky and unappealing? So do we! Get a sneak peak at a new version.
  • Seeking ideas for new Neighborhood Banners! The old banners are finally gone, and we need something better to replace them. Come share ideas!
  • Pedestrian and traffic safety along Powell Blvd and within the neighborhood.
  • A vote on this letter to send to the Oregon Transportation Commission about the need for safety improvements on Powell Blvd. Written public comment is officially being accepted through March 8th at 4pm, but may be submitted at any time ahead of the March 30th OTC meeting.
Stay tuned for more details!

We will accept questions during the weeks before the forum and share them with the candidates. Questions will also be taken during the event as time permits.

But you might be asking...
What in the world does the Multnomah County Commission even do??

Here are a few things under their jurisdiction:
The  Multnomah County Chair is often an “under the radar” election despite the significant power and influence that this position holds in our local government. Our coalition has organized this forum to raise awareness of this election and contribute to more informed voting.

An amazing group of volunteer organizations is hosting this candidate forum:
Creston School PTA
Cleveland High School PTSA
Creston-Kenilworth Neighborhood Association
Brentwood-Darlington Neighborhood Association
Atkinson Elementary PTA
Marysville Elementary Family Group
Foster-Powell Neighborhood Association

CKNA Still Needs a Secretary!

Considering getting involved? Like connecting with your community? Then you're in luck! We need a secretary! This is a vital position that helps us communicate with the neighborhood. Duties include: taking notes during meetings, recording votes, & sharing meeting minutes after they are completed. If you are interested, join our video meeting on February 28th at 6:30 pm. Have questions? Ask us!
