Summer Nutrition Class Recordings



Katlyn Frye, M.S., RD, CSOWM, ACSM-CPT, hosted three summer nutrition sessions on three popular diets. Katlyn is a clinical dietitian and an SU adjunct professor in the Exercise Science Department. Fall Fitness Class Schedule

Fall fitness classes are back!!!
 

All in-person classes will take place in Shingleton Gym unless otherwise stated. All participants must complete the 2021-2022 Fitness Waiver prior to participating in an in-person class. All patrons are encouraged to bring a water bottle and mat, as limited supplies will be available. Proper athletic attire is also required.

Sundays: 6 - 7 p.m. - Pilates w/ Eve
Shingleton Gymnasium
This mat-based workout is designed for participants to refine physical strength, develop long and lean muscles, gain core strength and stability, improve flexibility and increase mind-body awareness. Drop in, break a sweat, and love your body! All levels welcome! 
 
Mondays: 7 - 8 p.m. - Dance Party w/ Morgan
Shingleton Gymnasium
Dance Party is an energized fitness class that feels more like a night out dancing than a workout at the gym. Party yourself into shape with dance moves inspired by hip-hop music that will get your heart rate up while shaping your body. All levels welcome!
 
Wednesdays: 7 - 8 p.m. - Yoga w/ Christina
Shingleton Gymnasium
Christina will focus on getting your mind and body in sync. This full-body workout will combine specific breathing and movements to relax and strengthen your body and mind. All levels welcome!
 
Thursdays: 7 - 8 a.m. - Morning Yoga w/ Christina @ HPB and virtually
Christina will focus on waking up your mind and body. This full-body workout will combine specific breathing and movements to relax and strengthen your body and mind. All levels welcome!
 
Thursdays: Noon -12:30 p.m. - Deskercise w/ Eve 
This virtual class is designed to take place in your office or Residence Hall without the need for athletic attire. Enjoy a low-impact stretch and self-massage class, sweat-free (for most)! Join a guided session of self-care and relaxation of the muscles that get you through your work day. All levels welcome!

Water Aerobics  
Tuesdays at 8 a.m. and Thursdays 11 a.m. in the South Campus Commons Pool
 

Who said playing in the pool was for kids? Water aerobics is a fun, energetic, low-to-no-impact workout for every body. Use the water to increase strength, endurance, and balance. Come join us for this high-energy, fun-in-the-sun workout while keeping it cooler in the water.
