It’s time for your annual flu shot. Flu can cause debilitating illness resulting in hospitalization for complications such as dehydration, bacterial pneumonia, and other infections in the body. Even if you have never had a flu shot, now, more than ever, is the time to consider one. Flu shots are readily available in the communities surrounding Shenandoah University locations, including at pharmacies, grocery stores and primary care practices. Flu shots are free under most health insurance plans. To sweeten the deal, LiveWellSU is providing a $15 gift card for TARGET with proof of vaccine. Just use your SU email and send us your receipt showing your name to hr@su.edu and we will send you a gift card!
Employees needing assistance finding a provider may contact Lisa Darsch, the university’s health care navigator, at ldarsch@su.edu.
