bespoken Bulletin

engaging people driving innovation

Welcome to the bespoken bulletin with a small twist

(This'll bring a tear to your eye.) This is my penultimate bespoken bulletin. I know, I know. It's the kind of of heartbreak you think you'll never get over, but you must be strong.

Don't panic though, bespoken is going nowhere, and our commitment to bringing people together over independent living and design is stronger than ever. But after 4 1/2 wonderful years I am going off to pastures new and just want to say thanks to everyone who has supported bespoken in this time.

And in other news, in this week's bulletin....
The Weegies are coming! I may be from Edinburgh but I mean this in the best possible sense. Tom and Laura, Co-inventors of the Ramble Tag, have started a trial with Glasgow Airport. Ramble Tag is an arm band with a handle to help guide a visually impaired person. Read about it here...
Finalists of the Blackwood Design Awards 2016, WheelAIR have some exciting news. The self-cooling wheelchair cushion enables the user to better regulate their body temperature and has taken the world by storm. Endorsed, among others, by Gordon Reid, UK no.1 wheelchair tennis player!
And before you clock out please please please take a moment to see if you can help this young design student invent something that could potentially make a difference to people who have a hearing impairment.

Have a great weekend everyone,

Paul
