Update on Back to Work Ordinance:
OEWD Website and Reporting
The Office of the Treasurer & Tax Collector has sent out targeted notices to employers with 100 or more employees. While OSLE typically manages these types of City ordinances, the “Back to Work” Ordinance is being managed by the Office of Economic and Workforce Development (OEWD) and reporting requirements need to be sent to OEWD.

The ordinance went into effect on July 3, 2020 and will remain in effect until September 2, 2020. An additional 61 day extension of the Emergency Ordinance is being heard at the Board of Supervisors (BOS), Government Audits and Oversight Committee this Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 10 am. We will keep you updated as this progresses through the BOS.
