Happy Families

Billy has been invited to direct The Circus Space's graduate show, featuring 13 emerging circus artists.
Based on the traditional British card game 'Happy Families', everything is not what it seems in a dismal caravan-park-on-sea setting...
Devising has started at the Circus Space and Billy's creative team for the show includes design students from Arts University Bournemouth who are creating some very unique costumes for the show. It will play at Jackson's Lane 4-6 July.  After July, we are creating a graduate company, devising an outdoor version of Happy Families for performance at Bestival and Bristol Harbour Festival, with potential to tour - so please contact us if you are interested in booking.

Extraordinary Bodies

Extraordinary Bodies – a professional integrated circus company created in partnership with Diverse City, working with disabled and non-disabled circus performers, and Paralympians new to artistic performance.

Following on from 2012's Breathe, Diverse City and Cirque Bijou join forces again to create a new company, with a bold, joyous, radical new show that is focused on the body.  The show is set to premiere in September.

We have grand plans and are looking for partners to join us on our journey.  If you can offer space, resources or financial support, or are interested in getting involved in another way, please contact us.
Cirque Bijou style

Last month...

-'Better than amazing' said our client of a show we created at Celtic Manor.  We directed, choreographed and styled our troupe of acrobats, drummers (above) and aerialists to perfectly fit the client's brief.

-Video: Delegates at a teambuild in Lisbon picked up some vocal skills from our crack team of beatboxers... Our highly specialist team gave lessons on a range of skills from beatbox to poi, later entertaining guests with an exciting show.
